Welcome to Our Most Highlighted Event of the Year — KU Graduation
We proudly celebrate our Graduation Ceremonies, momentous events in our academic calendar. Taking place twice annually, in July and December, graduation remains the highlight of our institution, symbolising academic excellence and the commencement of new beginnings. It is a time when the entire KU community, students, faculty, staff, families, and friends, come together to honour the hard work, resilience, and achievements of our graduands. Beyond the ceremonial cap and gown, graduation at KU represents the culmination of years of rigorous academic pursuit and the transition into a future of purpose, innovation, and impact in Kenya and beyond.

The ceremony will be for the conferment of various degrees and the award of diplomas and certificates for candidates who have qualified.

Kenyatta University wishes to inform all students in the Regular, Institutional Based and Digital School Programmes to apply for the 59th Graduation Ceremony scheduled for July, 2026.
Student Clearance
All students cleared to graduate are required to apply for clearance from the University through the Online Portal
